Engineering Analysis & Services (EAS) was formed in 1994 as structural consultants to the elevator industry. EAS provides structural design and analysis for elevator guiderail system including equipment connection to the building structure. EAS specializes in seismic design for new construction and elevator modernization specifications to meet California Building Codes; i.e., CCR Title 24, ASME A17.1, ASCE 7 ACI 318, AISC 360 and other construction related codes. EAS supports the elevator industry through initial design coordination and final submittal to various approving agencies; such as OSHPD, DSA, City Building and Safety, as well as County and State approval agencies.
